Dr. Brittany Martin

I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in the spring of 2018. I always knew that I wanted a career where I could help animals. While I was in high school, I discovered my appreciation for medicine. After spending a few days at a small animal clinic, I was hooked and I knew veterinary medicine was the right choice for me. I joined the clinic in the summer of 2018. I am excited to experience all aspects of veterinary medicine, but I am most interested in nutrition, preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. My first pet was a Jack Russel Terrier named Ali. I love getting to experience the human-animal bond firsthand. I really enjoy forming lasting relationships with clients and making a difference in the lives of their animals. My favourite thing about the clinic is all the amazing staff that I get to work with, they are so friendly and supportive. A fun fact about me is that I love sharks! I spent a month in South Africa in the summer of 2016 helping with research projects involving Great White Sharks.

Most pet owners have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with fleas.
