I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some shape or form but, it wasn't until I took a career assessment test and found out about becoming a veterinary technician and knew it was the job I was meant to do. I joined Coxwell Animal Clinic in 2016 through high school co-op. An area of the veterinary industry that interests me is surgery and radiographs. The best part of my job is spending every day with animals and knowing that I am helping them to become healthier and live a long, happy life!
My favourite thing about the clinic is working with a group of amazing, kind, and talented people, that feels like an extended family to me. I feel so fortunate to be able to work in such a place where everyone is so welcoming and friendly!
Fun fact about myself is that I have always been passionate about animals since I can remember and have always had a pet in my home. Also, I love to write poems and short stories! At home, I have a dog and 3 cats. My first pet was Shadow, a very beautiful and fat black cat.
With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we are pleased to advise that effective May 19, 2020 the restrictions on veterinary practices have been lifted. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.
1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!
2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE
Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
