Madison Smith

Animal Care Assistant
I am currently in my last year of high school and am hoping to be accepted into the Seneca Veterinary Technician course. I joined the Coxwell Animal Clinic in 2016. An area of the veterinary industry that interests me is surgery. The best part of my job is spending every day with animals and knowing that I am helping them to become healthier and live a long, happy life! My favourite thing about the clinic is working with a group of amazing, kind, and talented people, that feel like an extended family to me. I feel so fortunate to be able to work in such a place where everyone is so welcoming and friendly! Fun fact about myself is that I have always been passionate about animals since I can remember and have always wanted to work with them in some shape or form. I also love to write poems and short stories! At home, I have a 5-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix and a 3-year-old Persian cat mix. My first pet was Shadow, a very beautiful and fat black cat.
