Dr. Kristin Joudrey

Veterinarian

Growing up in Nova Scotia, I was one of those kids who knew early on that I wanted to be a vet. After completing my Bachelor of Animal Science, I had a life-changing experience volunteering at an animal rehabilitation sanctuary in Namibia where I worked with numerous orphaned or injured African species. My stay really solidified my desire to devote my life to helping animals.

I graduated from the Atlantic Vet College in 2011 and then moved to Toronto, practicing throughout the city before settling at Coxwell Animal Clinic in 2020. Being a resident of East York, I love getting to treat patients in my own neighbourhood. My special interests include preventative medicine, senior pet care and nutrition. I love that this field is forever evolving and that there is always something new to learn!

When not in the clinic, I enjoy downtime with my husband, son and kitties, Duma and Ultra. I am also an avid runner and have completed numerous marathons. One of my most memorable running experiences was the Speed Project, a relay that took me through Death Valley from Los Angeles to Las Vegas!
